Mackenzie W. has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and talent management. Mackenzie has held various roles in different companies, starting from their position as an Environmental and Engineering Recruiter at Aerotek in 2014. From there, they worked as a Recruitment Specialist at ChildServe from 2015 to 2017. Mackenzie then served as a Human Resources Manager at Würth DMB Supply, Inc. from 2017 to 2019, where they managed all aspects of HR functions and talent acquisition efforts.

Following that, Mackenzie worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Brokers International from 2019 to 2021, responsible for talent acquisition and providing guidance on recruiting issues. Mackenzie then joined National Underground Group as a Human Resources Business Partner in 2021, where they developed and implemented HR strategies.

In 2021, they became a Recruitment Supervisor at Rasmussen Group, leading nationwide talent acquisition efforts and developing the recruitment team. Currently, Mackenzie is working at Forgen as the Talent Acquisition Lead, responsible for global talent acquisition efforts and partnering with the executive and leadership teams to understand business needs.

In 2023, they will transition to the role of Director of Recruitment and Talent Management at Forgen, where they will continue to lead, train, and mentor the talent acquisition team. Mackenzie has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions such as performance management, employee engagement, benefit administration, and change management throughout their career.

Mackenzie W. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Wartburg College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Mackenzie also has additional certifications, including the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) obtained in July 2018, the Clair W. Fisher HR-Related Law Series obtained in 2022 from Central Iowa SHRM, and the Virtual Compensation and Benefits: Unlock the Power of Total Rewards certification from SHRM, which was obtained in 2023.
