Dawn Sketch is a highly experienced individual with a background in education and a passion for customer service and photography. From teaching to working as a retirement specialist, accounts payable specialist, and photographer, Dawn has a diverse skill set. Currently working at Forgotten Harvest as a Customer Service Specialist, Dawn is dedicated to providing nutritious food to communities in need. With a strong background in office management, customer service, and sales, Dawn is a valuable asset to any team.
Forgotten Harvest
Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” and distributed 40 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 sources, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to more than 200 emergency food providers in the Metro Detroit area.
