Jeffry Calixte is an experienced professional with a strong background in retail management and operations. Currently engaged in volunteer work with Forgotten Harvest since April 2015, Jeffry previously held key management roles at Burlington Stores, Inc. from August 2015 to August 2021, including General Store Manager and Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed warehouse management and inventory processing. Prior experience includes serving as a Distribution Supervisor at TJX from February 2014 to March 2015, where department collaboration and employee development were prioritized. Forgotten Harvest
Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” and distributed 40 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 sources, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to more than 200 emergency food providers in the Metro Detroit area.
