Forgotten Harvest
Kelli Kaschimer, MPA is a dedicated professional with a strong background in nonprofit management and community engagement. Kelli has held various roles at organizations such as Forgotten Harvest and the American Cancer Society, where Kelli focused on volunteer services, constituent recruitment, and income development. With a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Oakland University, Kelli has a wealth of experience and expertise in creating and implementing successful programs and initiatives to support those in need. Kelli's commitment to making a difference in the community shines through in all their work.
Forgotten Harvest
Forgotten Harvest was formed in 1990 to fight two problems: hunger and waste. Forgotten Harvest “rescued” and distributed 40 million pounds of food last year by collecting surplus prepared and perishable food from 800 sources, including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable markets, restaurants, caterers, dairies, farmers, wholesale food distributors and other Health Department-approved sources. This donated food, which would otherwise go to waste, is delivered free-of-charge to more than 200 emergency food providers in the Metro Detroit area.
