Cristiano Sarmento

Cristiano Dellani Sarmento is an experienced Lead R&D Engineer at Fori Automation, LLC, a Lincoln Electric Company, since April 2017, where significant contributions include the development of AGV LiDAR localization technology, resulting in multiple sales across automotive, textile, and aerospace sectors. Previous roles include Controls Project Engineer and Software Ingenieur, where successful commissioning of AGV lines and standardization of AGV hardware design were achieved. Prior experience includes positions as Electrical Engineer and Automation Engineer (Trainee) at SAI-BR, focusing on automation projects in major automotive plants, as well as internships at Siemens and ExxonMobil, gaining expertise in industrial automation and IT. Cristiano holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Industrial Automation from the Federal University of Technology - Parana and participated in an exchange program in Automation Engineering at Fachhochschule Jena.
