Josh Mahlik

Partnership Development Director at Fork Farms

Josh is an experienced product professional focused on reducing environmental impacts and democratizing food production in Milwaukee, WI, and beyond. Josh graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Iowa and has an MBA from Antioch University.

A Milwaukee native, Josh managed laboratory, facility identification, and water filtration product lines for Brady Corporation and Pentair prior to joining the Fork Farms team. He has won several product innovation awards and is known for his collaboration with like-minded organizations to reduce environmental impact. Josh has always been interested in sustainability but became passionate about food issues when he was awarded an Indians for Collective Action Scholarship to support the Self Employed Women’s Association in Ahmedabad India, where he spent one month developing a business plan for environmentally responsible solar cookstoves.

While the program was later disbanded, this experience fundamentally impacted his perspective on food, from its production to preparation and everything between. In his free time, he is a husband, dog dad, creative writer, wilderness camper, Big Brother, and a very average mandolin player. You will often find him with a good bourbon arguing the merits of Tolkien’s works around a campfire.
