Karoly Jakab is a seasoned professional in the field of biological sciences with a strong background in tissue engineering and biophysics. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist/Manager at Fork & Good, Inc., since March 2022, Karoly is leading the process development for suspension mammalian cell culture within custom-designed bioreactors. Previous roles include Senior Scientist at the Shu-Tung and Alice Li Foundation, focusing on regenerative medicine, and at L'Oréal, where innovative product testing was conducted. Karoly co-founded Modern Meadow, Inc., driving biomaterials development and securing significant funding for engineered biofabricated tissues. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biological Physics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with prior degrees in Physics from Babes-Bolyai University.
