Alex Luyima, PhD, is a Staff Scientist at Form Energy, focusing on developing next-generation materials through new green innovative processes. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Materials and Metallurgical Engineer at Toyota North America where they were involved in mechanical testing, chemical analysis, failure analysis, and leading kaizen projects. With experience in extractive metallurgy, process engineering, and research in various fields, Alex has a strong background in the metallurgical industry.
