Ian Redfern

Ian Redfern is a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in equipment design at Form Energy. Prior to joining Form Energy, Ian worked at Ambri where Ian started as an Engineer I and progressed to Engineer III. Ian also has experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Formlabs. During their time at the University of Maine Wood Physics Lab, Ian contributed to research projects on heat capacity of sheathing materials and moisture flow in composite building materials. Ian also served as a Peer Tutor, helping students improve their grades in physics and calculus through engaging activities and progress reports. Ian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine.
