Katherine Elliott

Katherine Elliott is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently a Staff Software Engineer at Form Energy, Inc. since May 2021, Katherine contributes to the development of Formware, a grid modeling toolkit. Prior to this role, Katherine served as a Software Engineer at kWh Analytics from March 2015 to April 2021, focusing on feature development and performance engineering for the HelioStats solar risk management platform. Earlier work experience includes a position as Software Engineer II at Energy Solutions from July 2011 to March 2015, where Katherine managed web design and development for energy efficiency and renewable projects in California. Katherine began their career as a Research Assistant at MBARI, working on a primary productivity forecasting model in 2010, and also completed an internship in web development with MBARI in 2009. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, earned in 2010.
