Debra Buxton

Debra Buxton has over 35 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Debra is currently working as an Associate Director of Quality Control at Forma Therapeutics. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Consultant at DBuxton Consulting for over 12 years, providing quality and regulatory consulting services. Before that, they held positions as a Director of Quality Assurance at NitroMed and an Associate Director of Quality Assurance at ActivBiotics. Debra also has experience as a Manager of Quality Control at ViaCell, a QA/QC Manager at Periodontix, a QC Manager at Genzyme Biosurgery, and a Manager at Gene-Trak, where they held various roles in infectious disease research and laboratory management. Throughout their career, Debra has demonstrated expertise in quality control, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and the development and improvement of quality systems.

Debra Buxton earned their B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Vermont in 1980. Debra later obtained their M.S. in Health Science from Northeastern University, completing their degree in 1986.
