Austin Songer, MIS, CEH, ECSA, has extensive experience in cyber security. Austin began their career in 2008 as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. In 2015, they joined the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as a Technology and Data Services Coordinator. In 2018, they were hired as a Cyber Security Analyst at Alight Solutions, and also took on the role of IT System Operations and Security Manager at Prevail Health. Austin also worked as a Freelance Cyber Security Engineer & Consultant for Upwork. In 2020, they joined Secure Compliance Solutions LLC as a Security Engineer, and in 2021 they were promoted to Senior Security Engineer at FormAssembly.

Austin Songer has an extensive educational background in the field of computer and information security. Austin obtained a Masters of Information Systems from Robert Morris University - Illinois in 2016, a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Eastern Illinois University in 2013, and graduated from Kentlake High School in Kent, Washington in 2006. In addition to their formal education, Austin has obtained several certifications, including a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in 2018, Foundations of Purple Teaming from AttackIQ in 2021, Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK from AttackIQ in 2021, Community Edition All-Star from RangeForce in 2021, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate from Microsoft in 2021, and EC-Council Certified Security Analyst: Penetration Testing (ECSA) from EC-Council.
