Liz Swartsel

Liz Swartsel has been working in the tech industry since 2012. Liz began their career at PowerDMS as a QA Analyst, Service Desk II, and Junior Software Developer. In their role as Junior Software Developer, they worked in the Microsoft Technology Stack and specialized in back-end development. Liz then moved into a Product Team Lead role before becoming a Product Manager. In this role, they managed all products at PowerDMS and processed inputs from Tech Debt, New Products, Defects and Sustainability needs in a Scrum shop. Liz also managed Sprints for a growing development team of 25-30 individual contributors and wrote release notes communicating all changes done by the Engineering Team. In 2021, Liz moved to FormAssembly as a Group Product Manager and Product Manager.

Liz Swartsel received their High School Diploma from Mandarin High School. Liz then went on to obtain their Interdisciplinary Studies degree from the University of Central Florida, with a focus in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, and a Minor in Computer Science. In addition, Liz has obtained four certifications: FormAssembly Certified (February 2022), Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing (CPM) from the 280 Group (September 2021), PowerDMS Certified Professional from PowerDMS (November 2020), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance (March 2019).
