Oscar Frías

Oscar Frías is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in product development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Technical Lead for Fuse at Formlabs since November 2020, Oscar previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Pensa, where there was a focus on developing desktop CNC wire bending machines. With roles varying from Senior Design Engineer at Pensa to Product Development Engineer at Unilife Corporation, Oscar has a proven track record in designing and developing innovative products, managing R&D efforts, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Additional notable experiences include serving as Lead Fabrication Engineer at Astrobotic Technology, Co-Founder of HighGround Dynamics, and IP Consulting Partner at Frías y Frías Consultores SC. Oscar holds a Master of Product Development from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México.
