Ian Thomassee

Ian Thomassee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ian is currently employed as a Chemical Engineer at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. Ian previously worked as a Rope Access Technician at Premium Inspection & Testing, where they operated rope systems to conduct plant projects and performed Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) on plant piping and equipment. Before that, they served as a Sports Equipment Manager at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they coordinated with coaches and management to prepare equipment for football games and practices. Ian also worked as a Deckhand at Harbor Docking and Towing, where they supported engine room operations and performed tasks related to boat preparation and docking. Additionally, they have experience as a Cashier at Gaubert Oil Company, Inc. Overall, Ian has showcased adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills throughout their work experience.

Ian Thomassee received their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2016 to 2020. In February 2021, they obtained the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification from NCEES. Additionally, in July 2020, Ian completed the OSHA Safety Compliance Course from the OSHA Safety Training Institute and also obtained Level I Rope Access certification from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT).
