Dr. Vikas Rana

Dr. Vikas Rana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in materials science and electrical engineering. Currently, as Founder of AiML Technology since January 2023, Dr. Rana focuses on developing neuromorphic chips for edge AI applications. In addition, Dr. Rana has served as Head of the Technology Group for RRAM at Forschungszentrum Jülich since October 2011, overseeing technology development and collaboration with universities on NV-RRAM technology, and has published over 40 scientific articles. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Research Scientist at IMEC-NL, Quality Analysis Engineer at NXP Semiconductor, and Researcher at TUDelft. Dr. Rana holds an Executive MBA in Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship, a PhD in Materials Science and Electrical Engineering, and multiple degrees in Material Science and Physics.
