Alexander Gerencser

Alexander Gerencser serves as the Food & Beverage Director for ÖRESUNDSLINJEN since July 2019, overseeing 17 restaurants, bars, conference venues, and fast food outlets on vessels. Previous roles include General Manager at Brdr. Strecker from January 2015 to July 2019, F&B Manager at Scandic Hotels in 2014, and Restaurant Manager at Big Bowl Sweden AB from October 2012 to May 2014, where responsibilities included business performance and sales analysis. Earlier experience includes the position of Food & Beverage Duty Manager at Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, managing operations for a hotel with multiple outlets and a large team. Alexander's career began as Restaurant Manager at Brdr. Strecker from June 2006 to October 2010. Academic qualifications include a Kandidatexamen in Hospitality Management with a focus on Sommelier and Gastronomy from Umeå University, and a Gymnasieexamen in Natural Science, Mathematics, and Information Technology from Sigma College.
