Studio Engineering Manager at FORSEVEN

Dan Hanratty has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the automotive industry. Dan is currently the Studio Engineering Manager at FORSEVEN, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Arrival as the Head of Vehicle Architecture from February 2022 to March 2023, and as the Upperbody Vehicle Architecture & Studio Engineering Lead from September 2021 to February 2022. Dan also served as the Lead Studio Engineer at Arrival from January 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Arrival, Hanratty worked at Dyson as a Senior Studio Engineer from June 2018 to January 2020. Dan'searlier experience includes roles at Jaguar Land Rover, where they served as a Senior Studio Engineer and Studio Engineer, responsible for delivering feasible geometry-based solutions for vehicle design. Dan also worked as a Graduate Studio Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, supporting the design process through feasibility studies and packaging using CAD skills.

Hanratty's work experience extends beyond the automotive industry. Dan worked as a Face 2 Face Fundraiser at RNLI, where they communicated with the public to gain regular supporting donors and increase beach safety awareness. Dan also had a brief role as a Project Engineer at Babcock International Group, managing maintenance projects and implementing engineering solutions.

Dan'scareer in the automotive industry began with a Studio Engineer - Industrial Placement at Bentley Motors Ltd, where they completed feasibility studies and addressed packaging issues using CAD software. Dan also gained experience in project development, event organization, and promoting STEM careers during their time at Bentley.

Throughout their various roles, Hanratty has demonstrated expertise in studio engineering, design feasibility, project management, and CAD skills. Dan has worked closely with cross-functional teams and contributed to the product development process.

Dan Hanratty attended the University of Plymouth from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors (MEng).
