Mike Burnett

Mike Burnett is a Remote Sensing and LiDAR Analyst at Forsite Consultants, where responsibilities include modeling forest inventories using LiDAR and RGB imagery. Previously, Mike served as a Research Associate at The University of British Columbia, applying image fusion techniques for multispectral data analysis to create seasonal forests composites. Additionally, experience as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Queen's University, along with several roles as an English teacher in international schools, highlights a diverse professional background. Mike holds a Master of Science in Geography from Queen's University, a Certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Honours Planning from the University of Waterloo.
