Alexander Mikkelsen

Alexander Mikkelsen serves as a Senior Scientist at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment since August 2019. Previously, Mikkelsen worked as a Consulting Physicist at CADENAS, where expertise was applied in developing printing technology for micro paths. Academic experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Assistant Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, focusing on fluid dynamics relevant to oil recovery and various industries. Mikkelsen completed a PhD at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet, where research was centered on preventing the coalescence of fluid drops. Additional roles encompassed teaching and laboratory assistance at institutions like the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Trollvik skole. Mikkelsen holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, complemented by graduate studies at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
