Jens Einar Bremnes

Jens Einar Bremnes is a Scientist at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI, focusing on research and development for autonomous underwater vehicles since May 2023. Previously, Jens served as a PhD Candidate at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) from August 2019 to January 2024, conducting research at the Centre for Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems (AMOS). Jens has also been a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and has held various roles at NTNU, including Student Assistant and Recruitment Assistant. Additional experience includes summer internships at DNV GL, Equinor, and Hyundai Heavy Industries, as well as work as a Substitute Teacher in mathematics and science, and mentoring high school students in science and mathematics. Jens holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Marine Cybernetics from NTNU.
