Joakim Grytbakk

Joakim Grytbakk is an experienced aviation professional, currently serving as a Senior First Officer at Ryanair since December 2018. Grytbakk has a background in aviation education and flight instruction, having worked as a Flight Instructor at multiple flying clubs, including Oslo flyveklubb, Hedmark flyklubb, and Ringerikes Motorflyklubb. In addition to aviation roles, Grytbakk has also contributed to public service as a Security Guard at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment since October 2006. Educational qualifications include a leadership course from HarvardX, a type qualification in Boeing 737-300/900 from CAE, and a foundation degree in Aeronautics from Kingston University, among other aviation certifications and training from various institutions.
