Sigmund Rolfsjord

Sigmund Rolfsjord is a researcher at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt (FFI) since August 2017, focusing on advanced research topics. From January to December 2018, Sigmund served as a university lecturer at the University of Oslo (UiO), teaching the course TEK5040 Deep Learning for Autonomous Systems. Prior research experience includes a PhD research position at UiO from October 2015 to August 2017, working on medical image analysis, machine learning, and lecturing on INF5860 Machine Learning for Image Analysis. Earlier roles include IT Consultant at Ciber Norge and Teaching Assistant at the University of Oslo. Sigmund also gained experience as a summer intern at Comoyo in 2012-2013. Educational background includes a degree from the University of Oslo, completed in 2014.
