Marius Thomassen

Marius Thomassen is an experienced HR professional currently serving as HR-sjef at Forsvarsbygg since August 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing four HR departments and managing a team of 32 employees in Oslo and Harstad. Prior to this role, Marius worked as HR-leder at Oslo tingrett, focusing on leadership development, change processes, and HR section management from January 2017 to August 2018. Marius also contributed to Akershus fylkeskommune as an organisasjons- og lederutvikler from March 2010 to January 2017, implementing a leader development program for around 350 leaders, and served as an HR-rådgiver within the same organization. Earlier career experience includes consulting in debt negotiations at Intrum Justitia and a consulting role from 2005 to 2008. Marius holds multiple Master’s degrees in management and leadership from BI Norwegian Business School, alongside a Bachelor of Business Administration from Oslo and Akershus University College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queensland University of Technology.
