Renie Deanda

Renie Deanda is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a robust background spanning various sectors, including education, energy, and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Marketing at Fort Bend Christian Academy since June 2021, Renie previously held positions such as Director of Communications at Katy ISD and Communications Lead at Wood, a global project and engineering services leader. Renie's expertise includes project management and strategic communication, highlighted by a role as Creative Solutions Project Manager at Shell, where Renie advised senior stakeholders on effective communication strategies. Additionally, experience in corporate communications was gained at RoundTableau Consulting, and Renie contributed to educational settings as a journalism teacher and coach at Spring Branch ISD. Renie began a career in journalism as a reporter for KTXS and gained initial public relations experience through an internship at Southwest Airlines. Renie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s Degree in Administration from Concordia University Texas.
