Ashley Saunders

Ashley Saunders is an experienced professional currently serving as Executive Liaison & Corporate Events at Fort McKay First Nation since 2022, after previously holding the role of Executive Assistant to the CEO & Council. Prior experience includes entrepreneurship at Soap Much Luv from 2016 to 2022, and serving as Rural Community Coordinator for Safe Community Wood Buffalo from 2016 to 2017. Earlier in the career, Ashley worked as a Group Home Councillor at CENTRAL RESIDENTIAL SERVICES and as a Community Peace Officer for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo from 2007 to 2013. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies at LaSalle College Vancouver, along with diplomas in Leadership & Management and Operations Management from Alison College. Additional credentials include a certificate in Executive Assistance from IAP Career College and a certificate in Law Enforcement & Administration from Alberta Solicor General College and Academy Canada.
