Peter Peraino

Peter Peraino has extensive experience in athletic management and education, currently serving as the President of the Fort McMurray Schools Athletic Association since September 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing city-school athletics and managing operations. As the President and Founder of the Fort McMurray Thunder Volleyball Club since 2012, Peter has focused on developing youth athletics for ages 10-18. Additionally, Peter holds the position of Athletic Director at Fort McMurray Composite High School since June 2010, complementing a role as a Physical Education teacher for grades 9-12. Peter's coaching experience includes serving as the Head Coach for Team Alberta 16U and as a coach for Team Alberta 16U in 2021. Academically, Peter holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Windsor, as well as a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University.
