Russell Foster

Russell Foster has extensive experience in mechanical design engineering and management, currently serving as Design Manager at Fort Vale Engineering Limited since January 2016, following a transitional role as Deputy Design Manager. Prior to this, Russell held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at Fort Vale Nuclear Ltd, where responsibilities included the design of valves and equipment for bulk liquid transport systems. Russell also contributed to the Bobst Group as a Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in aluminium metallizing and sputtering machines, while mentoring graduate engineers. Earlier career experience at Aztech Engineering involved designing special purpose machinery for the automotive industry. Russell holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Lancaster University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Central Lancashire.
