From 2007 onwards, Marilyn Horan worked as the Principal at both the Bunche Montessori Early Childhood Center in Fort Wayne and Fort Wayne Community Schools.
Marilyn Horan holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Elementary and Middle School Administration/Principalship from Ball State University. Marilyn also has an M.A. in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Specific Learning Disabilities and an M.A. in Vocational Home Economics, both from Ball State University. Additionally, they obtained a B.S. in Vocational Home Economics from Purdue University. Marilyn has also completed Montessori Administration training at The Center for Montessori Education.
