Kathy Uhr has a diverse work experience history. Kathy started their career in 1988 as a District Manager at Victoria's Secret, where they worked until 1997. Following that, they worked as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Baltimore County Public Schools from 1998 to 2000. Kathy then joined Beth Tfiloh Synagogue and Schools, where they held the roles of Teacher, Dean of Students, and Curriculum Coordinator from 2000 to 2007. In 2008, Kathy joined Fort Worth Academy as a Teacher, eventually progressing to the role of Head of Lower School from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Head for LS & MS Programs at Fort Worth Academy.
Kathy Uhr's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from Virginia Tech, which they earned from 1984 to 1988. Kathy then pursued a Masters of Arts in Teaching (SI-MAT) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Johns Hopkins, completing it from 1996 to 1997. Later, they attended Texas A&M University-Commerce from 2012 to 2014, working towards an EdD in Supervision and Administration.
