Oscar Garcia is an experienced trumpeter and educator with a notable career in orchestral performance. Currently serving as the 2nd Trumpet for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra since August 2008, Garcia previously held positions as the Principal Trumpet for the Florida Grand Opera and as a Trumpet Fellow with the New World Symphony. Additionally, Garcia contributed to music education as an Adjunct Music Faculty member at Southwestern Adventist University in early 2017. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Music Performance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts in Trumpet Performance from Baylor University.
