Shari Coomer has a range of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Shari is currently the Director of Human Resources at Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Irvington Community Schools from January 2021 to August 2022. Shari also worked as the Culture & Development Manager (HR Manager) at Traders Point Christian Church from December 2018 to November 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Account Manager at LHD Benefit Advisors from April 2009 to February 2011 and as an Assistant Director of Human Resources/Benefits at the NCAA from December 2000 to April 2009.
Shari Coomer obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Ball State University in 1996. Shari then pursued further education and completed a Master of Jurisprudence in Law at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law from 2023 to 2025.
