Ionut Milas

Ionut Milas has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to 2023. Ionut started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Emerson Industrial Automation from April 2012 to June 2014. In 2014, they joined Fortech as a Software Developer, where they worked on both server and client-side development using technologies such as Javascript, NodeJS, React, Redux, and Angular 1.x. Ionut also took on the role of Team Lead at Fortech from November 2016 to May 2017, overseeing sprint planning, task assignment, and providing support for day-to-day operations.

In 2017, Ionut expanded their skill set by joining Lateral Inc. as a Frontend Developer for a brief period of four months. Ionut then co-founded Decagon in July 2017, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Ionut was responsible for software development and also took on the role of a Co-Founder.

Following this, Ionut joined LIONSTEP in December 2017 as a Software Developer & Team Lead. Ionut worked on leading a team and developing software using their skills in Javascript, NodeJS, and React. Their tenure at LIONSTEP ended in March 2020.

Currently, Ionut is working at Fortech again, but in a more senior position as a Software Engineering Manager starting from January 2023.

Ionut Milas earned their high school diploma in Support Analyst Programmer - Programming & Math from Technical College, attending from 2002 to 2006. Ionut then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, studying from 2006 to 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Virtual Engineering and Competitive Manufacturing from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca; Faculty of Machine Building, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013.
