Rupesh Malladi

Rupesh Malladi has extensive work experience in data engineering and architecture. Rupesh is currently working at Fortegra as the VP of Data Engineering since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP Platform Engineering at Kinetiq from March 2021 to February 2023. From August 2018 to March 2021, Rupesh worked at 7Park Data where they held the position of VP Engineering, Data Products. Rupesh also served as an AWS Senior Big Data Architect at 7Park Data from September 2017 to August 2018. Before joining 7Park Data, Rupesh worked at Slalom Consulting as a Data warehouse Architect Lead Consultant from March 2016 to August 2017. Their role involved designing data and solution architecture, information management, data strategy, and AWS solution architecture on the AWS stack. Prior to Slalom Consulting, Rupesh worked at Cognizant from September 2011 to September 2015 in various roles such as Data Warehouse Architect, Senior Data Warehouse Consultant, Senior Business Systems Analyst/Data Architect, and Technical Business Analyst. Their responsibilities included data modeling, BI solutions development, business analysis, project management, and data management using various tools and technologies such as ER Studio Data Architect, Oracle, Informatica, and Sybase IQ.

Rupesh Malladi completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Instrumentation from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Rupesh also obtained certifications in TOGAF 9 from The Open Group in October 2015, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
