Alan Kraft has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1984. In 1984, they began as Vice President and Area Manager at Knowledgeware and Tandem. Alan then moved to Informix Software in 1995 as Director of Sales, where they were responsible for overseeing the Finance Department while selling Internet applications, database, and development tools and services. During this time, they also held the role of Vice President of Sales, Global Enterprise Solutions at TRW, where they were tasked with spearheading the startup and growth of a division providing e-commerce, supply chain, network security, outsourcing, and software testing solutions.
In 2000, Alan Kraft founded NetCommerce and served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Alan'srole included selling hosted applications and software to commercial and government entities. Alan then moved to Informatica in 2002 as Area Vice President of Sales and Business Development, where they were responsible for turning around declining sales involving data warehousing, data extraction, translation, and business analytics software and services. In 2003, they became Vice President and General Manager at Novell, where they were hired to turn around declining government market share and revenues.
In 2007, Alan Kraft took on the role of Vice President of Sales at Trusted Computer Solutions. Alan provided sales leadership for the startup company, developing cross domain and cyber security solutions enabling government and civilian agencies to share and access information securely across multiple classified networks. In 2010, they became Senior Business Development Executive at CACI International Inc., where they provided information solutions and services to U.S. Federal government and commercial markets in North America and internationally.
In 2017, Alan Kraft founded and became Vice President of Business Development and Sales for Greater Washington D.C. Business Development Leadership. Finally, in 2018, they began their current role as Senior Director of Sales at Fortem Technologies, where they are responsible for providing real-time intrusion detection and detect-and-avoid solutions.
Alan Kraft attended the United States Naval Academy, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Analytical Management.
