Hsing Yang Huang has extensive work experience in software engineering, specializing in firmware development and algorithm integration. From 2017 to the present, Hsing has worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Fortemedia, focusing on voice algorithm porting and integration on Tensilica/ARM DSP. Hsing has also collaborated with partner companies such as MediaTek and Realtek for IC integration. Prior to this, Hsing worked as a Senior Firmware Engineer at C-Media Electronics Inc from 2011 to 2017, where they developed DSP IC firmware and integrated and verified voice/audio algorithms. From 2008 to 2011, Hsing worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Acer, programming camera drivers for Windows Mobile and Android phones. Hsing's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at AVerMedia Technologies Inc. from 2005 to 2008, focusing on IPTV set-top box middleware development, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Global Unichip from 2004 to 2005, where they implemented MPEG 2 & 4 AAC decoder software IP on ARM9E DSP.
Hsing Yang Huang completed a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science from Chinese Culture University from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 2002 to 2004, Hsing Yang Huang pursued a Master of Computer Science degree in Audio Data Compression from National Taiwan University.
