Sharon Looney is a globally recognised business leader with a well-demonstrated track record and expertise in driving organisational value through the people agenda. Sharon has held a number of roles since 1985, beginning with Site HR Manager at Flextronics. Sharon then moved to Human Resources Manager at TDI Europe in 2002, Strategic HR Projects Manager at Sanmina SCI in 2005, Global Director of Career & Talent Management and Site HR Director at FCI in 2006, International HR Director at MACOM in 2015, Chief People Officer at CoreHR in 2017, and Chief People Officer - HR Transformation Strategist at Openmind Networks in 2021. Most recently, they were named Chief Human Resources Officer at Forterro in 2021, for which they were awarded CHRO of the Year 2019 at the World HRD Congress. Her personal moto is "it's people who deliver all value in all businesses", and they place high focus and value in ensuring people have access to the best leaders, for best employee experiences and best organisational outcomes.

Sharon Looney attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Msc. in Human Resource Leadership. Sharon also holds a certification in EQi (Emotional Intelligence 360 facilitation & feedback).
