Ben Laffrey

Ben Laffrey is a finance professional with extensive experience in leadership and financial management roles. Currently serving as the Head of Finance Transformation and Business Partners at Fortescue Future Industries since September 2022, Ben previously held multiple positions at Woodside Energy from February 2011 to August 2022, including Scarborough Business Unit Finance Lead and Executive Adviser to the CFO. Early career experiences include roles at BDO as an Auditor and at ANZ as a Personal Banker. Ben holds a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia, with a strong foundation in financial accounting and management. Additionally, Ben was recognized as Year 12 Head Boy at Mount Lawley Senior High School.
