Christopher Whyte

Christopher Whyte has worked in the field of geospatial analysis and engineering. Christopher started their career as a GIS Officer at Fortescue Metals Group Ltd in 2011 and worked there until 2015. Christopher then joined WorleyParsons as a GIS Analyst for a brief period in 2015. In 2016, they became a Technical Advisor at Arithmetica Limited for a year. Since 2017, Christopher has been working at Fortescue, initially as a Geospatial Analyst and then as a Lead Geospatial Analyst. Christopher recently transitioned to the role of Lead Geospatial Platform and Data Engineer in July 2022.

Christopher Whyte obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Curtin University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Christopher also obtained a high school diploma from Aquinas College WA, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. In addition, they received certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (2 Days) from DDLS in the year 2020.
