Louise McDonald

Louise McDonald is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in tailings management. Currently serving as Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Lead Tailings Engineer at Fortescue Metals Group since July 2019, Louise previously held the position of Perth Manager and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at CMW Geosciences from January 2014 to June 2019. Prior roles include Geotechnical Engineer at WorleyParsons and Tailings/Geotechnical Engineer at Coffey Mining between July 2007 and December 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Business Administration in General from Curtin University, expected to be completed in January 2024.
