Toby McLennan

Toby McLennan is an experienced geologist with a strong background in exploration and project management, currently serving as Exploration Manager for WA Generative Exploration at Fortescue since May 2018. Previously held roles include Superintendent Geology and Senior Geologist at Fortescue, focusing on copper and gold exploration in the Paterson Region of Western Australia. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineering Geologist at Concept Engineering Consultants Ltd, where involvement spanned various civil engineering projects in Greater London, and as a Consulting Project Geologist with Force Consulting, conducting exploration in multiple countries such as Nigeria, Indonesia, and Myanmar. Toby began a career in geology with Fortescue Metals Group, involved in both regional coal reviews and iron ore exploration. Toby holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Otago.
