Michael Farmer

Michael Farmer has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Marketing Director for Fortinet Federal. Prior to that, they served as the Federal Marketing Director for Fortinet, where they managed and directed federal marketing efforts. Michael also worked for 3M as the Manager of DoD Sales and later as the Director of Business Development for 3M Cogent. Before transitioning to the private sector, Michael had a successful military career in the US Army, where they held multiple leadership roles, including being a Biometrics Lead for Special Operations Forces and a Tank Company Commander. Overall, Michael brings a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, business development, and military operations.

Michael Farmer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of North Alabama in the years 1988 to 1990. Michael pursued further education and completed a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School between 1999 and 2001.
