David Hananel

David Hananel is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cybersecurity and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Fortinet, David has significantly contributed to the development of FortiEDR cloud services and workloads protection, utilizing a range of technologies including Python, Golang, and eBPF. Prior experience includes roles at enSilo, where David was a core team member in developing the enSilo product, and at F5 Networks, with key contributions to their Web Application Firewall and Layer 7 DOS prevention products. David also played a foundational role at Javelin Networks in implementing the Infinite Deception System and led R&D efforts for Check Point Software Technologies. David holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from The Hebrew University.
