Julia Huff has a diverse work experience, starting in 1984 as a Manager in the Medical Service Corps of the United States Air Force. Julia then worked as the Director of Athletics for the City of Alexander City, before transitioning to positions at Auburn University, including Safety & Health Specialist and Administrative Assistant. Following their time at Auburn, Julia worked as an Environmental Safety & Occupational Health Manager at ITT Systems. Julia later served in various roles at the US Air Force, including Financial Control Assistant. In 2013, Julia opened their own business, Harmonious Healing Massage. Most recently, they worked as the Director of Allied Health at FORTIS Colleges and Institutes.
Julia Huff's education history is as follows:
From 1990 to 1993, they attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they earned an Associate degree in Applied Health Sciences. In 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Adult Education at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Later, from 2005 to 2007, Julia pursued their Master's degree in Higher Education at Auburn University. In 2010 to 2012, they completed their Ph.D. in Higher Education from Auburn University as well. Additionally, Julia took a brief course in Therapeutic Massage at Virginia College in 2013. Lastly, in 2002 to 2004, they studied Higher Education at The University of New Mexico, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree from this institution.
