Lucas Messias

Lucas Messias has diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and data science. Lucas is currently working as a Lead Data Engineer at Fortis Games since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Lead Data Scientist at Oktagon Games from September 2021 to March 2022, and a Data Scientist from June 2019 to September 2021. Lucas also worked as a Bolsista Nível Superior at CAPES from October 2018 to February 2019 and as a Bolsista de Apoio Técnico a Pesquisa at CNPq from September 2017 to September 2018. Lucas started their career as a Bolsista de Iniciação Científica at UTFPR from August 2016 to July 2017, where they conducted research in the area of Learning and Pattern Recognition by Image Analysis. Their work was recognized with an invitation for an oral presentation at SICITE 2017.

Lucas Messias completed their Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the Federal University of Technology - Parana, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university, which they accomplished from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, Lucas has obtained several certifications, including the "IBM: Machine Learning with Python" from edX in November 2022 and the "Agile with Atlassian Jira" certification from Coursera. Other certifications include ClickUp Expert Certificate, Hands-On Essentials - Data Sharing and Data Warehouse from Snowflake, and various others from IBM and dbt Labs, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
