Brent Smith

Brent Smith is an experienced engineering and operations professional with a strong background in project execution and distribution planning. Currently serving as Project Execution Supervisor at FortisAlberta since May 2020, Brent has previously held key positions such as Sr Lead Engineer and Sr Distribution Planning Engineer within the same company. Prior roles include Operations Manager at Inspired Greens, Engineering & Operations Manager at Lethbridge Northern Irrigation District, and Project Engineer at Cavendish Farms. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Distribution Engineer for the City of Medicine Hat and Electric Distribution Manager for the City of Lethbridge. Brent holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
