Houston Perrett

Houston Perrett is an experienced actuary currently serving as AVP & Actuary at Fortitude Re since January 2022. Prior to this role, Houston worked at Principal Financial Group from February 2015 to January 2022, where responsibilities included leading interns on pricing and automation projects, developing machine learning models for pension mortality analysis, forecasting foreign exchange rates, and conducting quarterly actuarial reviews. Houston’s earlier experience includes positions as Actuarial Associate and Actuarial Assistant at Principal Financial Group, as well as an actuarial internship at Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies. Houston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
