Michael A. Bush Asa

Michael A. Bush ASA currently serves as a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Valuation at Fortitude Re since February 2024. Previously, Michael held the position of Assistant Actuary III in Annuity Pricing at National Western Life, where the focus was on developing new Individual Annuity Products and collaborating on pricing and product design. Other experience includes roles as Actuarial Assistant I in Valuation at Protective Life, Assistant Rental Manager and Sales and Operations Management Trainee at Penske Truck Leasing, and various claims-related positions at Progressive Insurance. Michael has also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as an Education and Training Manager and in different capacities within the United States Air Force, including Cyber Transport Systems Supervisor. Educationally, Michael holds a Master of Science in Finance, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, an Associate of Arts in Education Management, a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Mathematics/Physics, and an Associate of Arts in Electronics System Technology.
