Ferry Heilemann

Ferry Heilemann is a prominent entrepreneur and climate advocate with extensive experience in venture capital and technology. As the Founder and Partner of AENU since January 2021, Ferry focuses on impact venture capital with an emphasis on early-stage climate tech. Ferry co-founded Forto, a leading digital freight forwarder in Europe, where responsibilities have included roles as Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board, and CEO since January 2016, contributing significantly to raising over $600 million in capital. Ferry also co-founded Leaders for Climate Action in April 2019, advocating for entrepreneurial action against climate change, and serves as an Ambassador and Climate Champion for Founders Pledge. A former Venture Partner at Earlybird Venture Capital from January 2016 to July 2022, Ferry has a track record of supporting successful startups and wrote the "Climate Action Guide Book" to guide entrepreneurs in climate initiatives. Prior experience includes founding Heilemann Ventures and DailyDeal, along with leadership at Google Offers DACH. Ferry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and studied at Nottingham University Business School.
