Ed Chan

Ed Chan currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Crown Castle, where responsibilities include leading digital business transformation, enterprise security strategy, and business support functions. Previously, Ed had an extensive tenure at Verizon, where roles included Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing technology innovation and strategy, as well as the engineering and implementation of next-generation wireless and wireline networks. Ed has also held various leadership positions at Verizon, spanning network operations, infrastructure planning, and product development. Additionally, Ed serves on the Board of Directors for Fortress Solutions and has been a member of the Board of Advisors for the Samsung Strategy and Innovation Center. Ed holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University.
